London and Karlsruhe (Germany), 24th November 2006- Astaro Corporation (www.astaro.co.uk), a leader in providing unified threat management security solutions, today announced another festive treat for the channel and end users by announcing a series of free webcasts. Commencing on 30th November, the series include such topics as centralised email encryption, SSL VPN, Active/Active clustering and high availability of security appliances. Astaro Security Gateway V7, boasting these new features and more, will also be showcased for the first time.
The recently released beta version of Astaro Security Gateway V7 has provided a tantalising glimpse at what the soon-to-be-launched full version includes: transparent email encryption, a new graphical user interface, sophisticated bandwidth management, and automatically configurable high availability mechanisms are the main innovations of the latest release. Astaro’s unified threat management appliance has received numerous awards worldwide and is certified under Common Criteria security standards for deployment within business and government environments.
“Webcasts are a cost-free, convenient and effective way of educating our audiences on important technological developments and issues affecting businesses today. The installation of email encryption, for example, is now a legal requirement for SMEs because of the need for data security,” said Shameem Ibrahim, sales director UK at Astaro. “The issues we will be discussing are being experienced by companies now – Astaro Security Gateway V7 answers all these headaches and will enable businesses to be more secure, compliant and efficient.”
Each webcast is only 30 minutes in length and is free of charge for all participants. Login information can be found at www.astaro.com/webcasts and will run to the following schedule:
Astaro Security Gateway V7 Preview: E-Mail Encryption
Astaro Security Gateway V7 Preview: “One-Click-VPN” Access everything from anywhere
